Hardware Test Engineer
Job Title: Hardware Test Engineer Job Description This role supports hardware testing and quality assurance for large-scale robotic and automation systems deployed across multiple operational sites. The Mechanical/Quality Assurance Engineer will execute test plans, validate system performance against defined requirements, and support on-site hardware deployments through hands-on testing and diagnostics. Responsibilities + Develop and execute test cases to ensure system performance meets defined requirements. + Perform FAT/SAT procedures and analyze defects for corrective actions. + Conduct troubleshooting and document results for system validation. + Engage in extensive travel across North America for field testing. + Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful system validation. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Python and testing methodologies. + Experience with FAT/SAT and test planning. + Knowledge in robotics and robotics automation. + PLC and scripting proficiency. + Expertise in hardware and electromechanical testing. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 2-3 years of post-college QA/testing experience in electromechanical, robotics, automation, or industrial machinery fields. + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent experience. + Proficiency using Excel or similar tools for data analysis and tracking. + Basic scripting skills for test automation or tooling improvements. + Strong communication and documentation skills. + Ability to learn new hardware systems and test methods quickly. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Westborough, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.88 - $50.89/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
