Our client, a leader in technology innovation, is seeking a Hardware Test Engineer to join their team. As a Hardware Test Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting the manufacturing and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Hardware Test Engineer
**Location:** Cupertino, CA
**What's the Job?**
+ Help create as well as audit and approve Functional Test Plans and Burn-in stress testing sequences.
+ Validate in the lab, then deliver firmware updates to the production floor.
+ Manage production in the factory from prototype through EVT, DVT, PVT, Ramp, and MP phases.
+ Problem solve F/A reports and improve diagnostics to maintain >98% yield rate on high volume production lines.
+ Monitor and enforce test equipment calibration, ESD compliance, and consumable commodities maintenance policies.
**What's Needed?**
+ 3+ years of experience in factory test and diagnostics development.
+ Knowledge of Motherboard architecture and related subsystems such as CPU, Memory controller, and NVMe.
+ Proficient in Unix Shell (Bash) and Python programming.
+ Strong networking background and understanding of TCP/IP stack.
+ Ability to troubleshoot test hardware and experience programming FRU EEPROMs.
