Our client, a leading systems integrator specializing in server hardware, rack integration, and complex compute solutions, is seeking a Hardware Systems Engineering Manager to join their team. As a Hardware Systems Engineering Manager, you will be part of the Engineering Department, supporting and leading the Systems Engineering team and cross-functional groups across Production, Quality, Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Automation (TALON). The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, excellent communication, and deep hardware and process expertise, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range: $160,000–$200,000 (Exempt)
Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite, Standard Business Hours (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with some flexibility)

What’s Needed? Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience (a degree is not mandatory with a strong hardware leadership background) Minimum 5 years of engineering management experience leading technical teams in manufacturing, hardware engineering, or system integration STRONGLY PREFERRED - Strong understanding of x86 server hardware, Intel-based architecture, rack integration, and system-level manufacturing Experience with NPI, FA, EC, RTM, or similar engineering/manufacturing lifecycle processes Excellent communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills—able to confidently represent the company in front of clients Proven ability to lead through relationships and navigate diverse personalities in a fast-paced environment Strong program/project management skills with emphasis on documentation, process discipline, and ISO 9001 practices Ability to analyze issues, troubleshoot technical challenges, and drive continuous improvement Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with ERP/PLM systems Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight schedules Professional, steady demeanor under pressure This position requires access to information subject to U.S. export control laws (ITAR/EAR).
