Hardware Support Engineer III
**Job Title:** Hardware Support Engineer III **Location:** Sunnyvale, CA, US (Onsite – 5 days/week) **Pay Range:** $40/hr. **Our client, a leading consumer electronics company, is seeking a Support Engineer III to join their team.** As a Support Engineer III, you will be part of the Design Support team supporting component selection, library management, and compliance efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication, which will align successfully within the organization. **What’s the Job?** + Review all requests for new components and ensure they meet existing design requirements. + Assign inventory part numbers and create standardized descriptions for new parts. + Establish and maintain specifications for custom and off-the-shelf components. + Assist design engineers in selecting components that best fit design requirements. + Interface with the ECAD team to maintain libraries and databases. **What’s Needed?** + Hands-on experience with **PMICs, SoCs, and discrete components** (5+ years). + Knowledge of **ROHS and WEEE compliance** (5+ years). + Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or related field. + Experience reading electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and component datasheets. + Familiarity with Agile PLM or equivalent product lifecycle management tools. **What’s in it for me?** + Fully onsite role in Sunnyvale, CA with **Monday–Friday schedule (9 AM – 5 PM PT)** . + Opportunity to work with cutting-edge **consumer electronics components and assemblies** . + Potential for **contract extension or conversion to full-time** . + Exposure to **high-volume manufacturing and assembly processes** . + Professional development and growth in **component engineering, compliance, and ECAD tools** .
