Hardware Mobility Coordinator

Qualifications:
We are seeking a highly experienced and organized Senior Hardware and Mobility Management Specialist with 8+ years of expertise to oversee and optimize our enterprise hardware and mobility ecosystem. This role involves managing laptop and mobile device procurement, vendor relationships, service coordination, and strategic lifecycle management. The ideal candidate combines strong financial management skills with deep technical knowledge and leadership ability, enabling efficient cost control and seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Budgeting and Financial Management
Lead the development, monitoring, and management of technology budgets focused on hardware and mobility devices (laptops, mobile phones, tablets). Ensure accuracy, timely tracking, alignment with organizational financial goals, and cost optimization.Hardware and Mobility Procurement
Manage the end-to-end procurement process for laptops, mobile devices, and associated services. Conduct vendor research, evaluate proposals, negotiate contracts, compare quotes, and process purchase requisitions and orders, ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness.Service Request Coordination and Vendor Management
Oversee coordination of hardware and mobility service requests from intake through fulfillment. Prioritize, create, and track requisitions to meet SLAs. Maintain communications with vendors to resolve issues, monitor contract compliance, and ensure smooth service delivery.Asset Lifecycle and Initiative Coordination
Manage asset lifecycle processes including deployment, upgrades, and decommissioning of hardware and mobility devices. Coordinate hardware and mobility-related initiatives, track project milestones, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for timely delivery.Data Analysis, Reporting, and Documentation
Use tools like Power BI and Excel to analyze procurement data, vendor performance, asset utilization, and budget expenditures. Generate reports and dashboards for leadership insights and maintain comprehensive documentation covering procurement workflows, vendor contracts, and project updates.Cross-Functional Collaboration and Continuous Learning
Work closely with IT, Finance, Operations, Security, and other teams to gather business requirements and provide analysis supporting decision-making. Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending innovative solutions to improve hardware and mobility management.

Budget Support:Develop and manage budgets specifically for hardware and mobility assets.Procurement Assistance:Lead research, vendor negotiations, and purchase order processing to procure laptops, mobile devices, and related hardware.Asset Management:Oversee accurate asset tracking, license management, and compliance for hardware devices.Initiative Coordination:Lead and track progress on technology rollouts and upgrades related to hardware and mobility.Data Analysis & Reporting:Apply Power BI and Excel to transform data into actionable insights for optimizing asset usage and costs.Vendor Coordination:Maintain strong vendor relationships, monitor contract and SLA adherence, and resolve service issues proactively.Documentation & Reporting:Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation on procurement processes, vendor agreements, and project status.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Engage with multiple departments to align hardware and mobility services with organizational needs.Continuous Learning:Keep abreast of new trends in hardware, mobility technology, device security, and procurement best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.8+ years of progressive experience managing hardware, mobility procurement, asset lifecycle, and vendor management.Proven expertise in budgeting, cost management, and financial reporting within IT hardware and mobility environments.Extensive knowledge of laptop and mobile device lifecycle management and Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms.Strong skills in vendor negotiation, contract management, and procurement best practices.Expertise in data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI and Excel.Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Effective written and verbal communication skills to drive cross-team collaboration.Familiarity with IT service management, software licensing, security policies, and Agile methodologies.Demonstrated leadership experience and customer service orientation.Proactive learner with a passion for continuous professional development and technology innovation.
