**Job Title: Hardware Installer**
**Job Description**
As a Hardware Installer, you will be responsible for operating hardware insert machines, punching holes, and pressing fasteners to prepare materials for powder coating. Your duties will include operating sheet metal hardware presses, drill presses, and tapping equipment to press rivets, nuts, studs, and other fasteners into sheet metal parts. Additionally, you will read and interpret drawings and work orders to set up equipment, check equipment coolant levels, inspect threads, change taps, and maintain or replace tooling as needed.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate hardware insert machines to punch holes and press fasteners.
+ Prepare materials for powder coating by inserting knobs over fasteners.
+ Use sheet metal hardware presses, drill presses, and tapping equipment to press rivets, nuts, studs, and other fasteners.
+ Read and interpret drawings and work orders for equipment setup.
+ Check equipment coolant levels, inspect threads, change taps, and maintain or replace tooling.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with press brake, machine operation, and press setup.
+ Proficiency in CNC operation and working with computer consoles.
+ Ability to form parts based on work instructions, sheet metal, and metal fabrication.
+ Understanding of blueprints and metal fabrication processes.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school level education or equivalent specialized training obtained through vocational courses or on the job.
+ Comfortable performing calculations and recording data.
+ Ability to lift up to 25lbs and stand on feet for 10-hour shifts.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, WA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $26.30/hr.
