**Job Description**
Engineering management position responsible for a hardware development engineering group/team.Here at OCI we’re building the world’s largest AI clusters and we’re the fastest at bringing them to market. The AI Infrastructure organization at OCI is leading this effort.
As part of this focus on AI workloads and customers, we’re designing, deploying, and managing hardware platforms that power our high-performance GPU/CPU and Storageclusters for OCI customers. The hardware engineering team is responsible for all aspects of physical infrastructure, including servers, networking, storage, power, cooling and rack scale optimization. This involves component and system-level validation, hardware reliability, lifecycle management, and maintaining platform standards to ensure operational excellence and best-in-class availability.
In this role, you will lead the hardware program organization that controls the build, configuration,delivery and integration of these next-generation hardware platforms. You will work with some of the world’s leading AI partners and shape infrastructure solutions that operate at unprecedented speed, scale, and reliability. You should be a hardware systems expert with significant experience in board design, systems integration, reliability engineering, and data center hardware operations. You should thrive in complex environments, be comfortable leading geographically distributed teams, and have a passion for delivering robust and scalable hardware solutions.

• Provide leadership, direction, and strategic vision for the hardware engineering organization.
• Build and develop a high-performing team equipped to deliver on strategic objectives.
• Oversee end-to-end design, validation, deployment, and lifecycle management of hardware platforms at hyperscale.
• Establish hardware standards and ensure compliance in collaboration with global teams.
• Deliver large-scale projects on time with high quality and operational resilience.
• Partner with software, operations, supply chain, and data center organizations to optimize systems for AI workloads.
• Drive continuous improvement in platform reliability, availability, and cost efficiency.
Required Qualifications
MS or BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
7+ years of experience managing Hardware Engineering or Hardware Platform teams
12+ years of tactical technical experience
Strong communication, analytical, and program management skills
Additional Qualifications
Significant experience delivering to timescales and on budget highly available hardware systems
Expertise in hardware design, system integration, qualification, and mechanical engineering fundamentals
Deep understanding of subsystems including GPUs, CPUs, memory, PCIe, networking (Ethernet/InfiniBand), and storage
Experience with data center reliability, failure analysis, and root cause investigation
Working knowledge of power, cooling, and rack level architecture in hyperscale environments
Experience collaborating closely with software, firmware, and operations teams
Strong experience in high performance computing (HPC) and/or GPU-based systems
Regulatory/Country compliance knowledge

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $161,700 to $338,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
