About the Role: As a CBRE Handyman Facilities Assistant you will be responsible for a combination of general facilities work in regulated spaces. This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans. What You’ll Do: • Take part in painting and patchwork. Escort vendors through the facility. • Minor repairs of architectural items, cabinets, doors, and windows, replacing lamps and batteries • Installation of shelving, tank holders, paper towel racks, coat hooks, and various items. • Interface with front-line clients on various requests. • Assist trades personnel with maintenance tasks, corrective, and preventative. • Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them. • Event management and set up • Guiding suppliers and issuing permits • Impact the quality of own work. • Performing Mailroom activities. • Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. • Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding. What You’ll Need: • Comprehensive knowledge and awareness of all aspects FM. • Preferably BA4 – BA5 – VCA certification • Good knowledge of Dutch/French & English (written &spoken) • Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.
