Job Title: Handyman

Job Description

As a General Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for driving to various properties within the Rhode Island area to perform a range of maintenance tasks on buildings. This role requires a commitment to ensuring the upkeep and functionality of the facilities. This role will focus on carpentry as the main skill including sheetrock work, roofing, flooring, and concrete work. This will be a direct hire position paying $50,000 a year salary plus a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

Drive to various properties within the Rhode Island area to perform maintenance tasks.Conduct general maintenance and repair work on building structures.Patch roofs and repair sheet rock as needed.Cut concrete and install new flooring.Remove and dispose of garbage and debris from work sites.

Essential Skills

Experience in general labor, construction, and maintenance repair.Proficiency in general repair and mechanical skills.Ability to perform tasks related to carpentry and general maintenance.Experience as a maintenance technician is preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to patch roofs and work with sheet rock.Experience in cutting concrete and installing new flooring.

Work Environment

This position operates within a construction and maintenance environment, working weekdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, for a total of 40 hours per week.

This is a Permanent position based out of East Providence, RI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $55000.00/yr.
