**Job Title: Hand Screen Associate**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Hand Screen Associate to join our Hand Screen Department. This role is essential for color mixing and involves close collaboration with department leads and specialists to meet important deadlines and assist in various tasks such as utilities, pre-press, and communication.
**Responsibilities**
+ Mix colors and work with stylists to achieve desired results.
+ Perform drawdowns to create color samples for deadheads.
+ Refill standard ink containers.
+ Operate machinery and clean screens.
+ Take direction from Hand Screen Lead/Specialist.
+ Set up files and maintain screen log.
+ Burn in screens and re-tension, build, coat, and reclaim screens.
+ Build screens, cut paper, change squeegees, and deliver embossed hand screens to stylists/custom department.
+ Communicate all problems and issues as they arise.
+ Assist in other areas of the company if needed.
+ Stand for 8-10 hours and lift 10-15 lbs as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in printing, hand & power tools, and screen printing.
+ Strong attention to detail.
+ Color identification and color matching skills.
+ Printing knowledge.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ 4-year or 2-year degree with a focus on printing/art is preferred.
+ Physical ability to perform manual tasks and lift specified weights.
+ Must pass a Color Hue Acuity Test.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is an older manufacturing facility located in the city. The Hand Screen Department is on the second floor, and the room is climate-controlled. The position requires working a 1st shift schedule from 5:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Thursday, with potential overtime as needed. Candidates will work with ink and printing machines and may need to use a washing station. The team is small, consisting of a manager, lead, and three other associates.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, Pennsylvania
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
