We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Hand Coilers. This is an entry-level position ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work in a structured environment. You will be responsible for manually coiling small steel bands and preparing them for shipment. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work efficiently while seated for extended periods.
Key ResponsibilitiesHand Coiling: Coil small steel bands (approximately 8 inches long) into a circular shape and secure them by pulling in the opposite direction.Quality Assurance: Ensure each coil meets company standards for tightness and uniformity.Packaging: Place finished coils into bags, then pack them into boxes for shipment.Workstation Maintenance: Keep your work area organized and clean to maintain safety and efficiency.Production Goals: Meet daily and weekly production targets while maintaining quality standards.Essential Skills & QualificationsAttention to Detail: Ability to see and handle small parts accurately.Manual Dexterity: Comfortable performing repetitive hand movements for extended periods.Experience: Previous experience in production, assembly, or manufacturing is preferred but not required.Reliability: Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions consistently.Physical RequirementsAbility to sit for the majority of the shift.Ability to handle small steel components safely.Why Join Us?Competitive pay rates.Stable, full-time employment.Opportunity to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.50 - $22.00/hr.
