The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Haematology Business Manager to introduce Lilly’s commercial team to Australian clinicians. As the inaugural member of our Haematology sales team, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and nurturing key relationships nationwide through F2F and virtual interactions. You will be laying the groundwork for future team members and ensuring the patient journey remains at the heart of our mission.
This is a unique opportunity for a self-starter with established Haematology relationships to shape the future of Lilly’s Haematology business in Australia using an omni-channel approach. When additional colleagues join later in the year, you will transition to managing an assigned territory within your home state.

Position: Haematology Business Manager
Maximise the appropriate use of Lilly Haematology therapies by delivering high‑quality, compliant, and customer‑centric engagements with healthcare professionals and healthcare organisations. The role focuses on building trusted partnerships across complex haematology pathways, supporting optimal patient outcomes, and executing territory strategies aligned to national brand objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and sustain strong, trusted relationships with haematologists, clinical nurse consultants, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary teams across hospital and specialist settings.
Navigate complex pathways within accounts, identifying opportunities to enhance the patient experience and drive positive outcomes in readiness for an upcoming launch.
Serve as a strategic partner to clinicians and accounts, aligning our commercial approach to support both patient and business objectives.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of Haematological malignancies and benign Haematology disease areas relevant to the portfolio.
Confidently and compliantly communicate clinical evidence tailored to customer needs
Develop and execute a robust territory business plans aligned to national brand strategy and local insights.
Collaborate closely with internal colleagues to ensure the seamless execution of initiatives and deliver outstanding customer satisfaction.
Conduct all activities in strict accordance with Medicines Australia Code of Conduct and company policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business or a Science-related discipline.
Ability to travel interstate as needed to fulfill business needs.
Current MA Code of Conduct qualification.
Valid Australian driver’s license.
Full-time work rights in Australia.
Preferred Experience
Ideally based in Victoria or New South Wales (applicants from other states will be considered for the right fit).
Minimum four years’ successful haematology specialist sales experience in the Australian pharmaceutical industry.
Proven business acumen and account management capabilities.
Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated learning agility, self-motivation, team orientation, emotional intelligence, and influencing skills.
