As a Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer, you will be part of a dynamic development team supporting innovative insurance solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical acumen, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to continuous learning, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer
**Location:** Remote (with occasional on-site presence in Columbus, Ohio)
**Pay Range:** Up to $48 per hour (based on experience and skill set)
**Duration** : Contract to Hire (Hiring Manager is looking to convert to FTE later this year)
**Candidates** : US Citizens or GC Holders only please
**What's the Job?**
+ Develop PolicyCenter components, including product model, rating engine, APIs, UI, batch processes, and integrations.
+ Drive implementation of enhancements, resolve configuration issues, and contribute to sprint planning and demos within an Agile development team.
+ Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and international consulting partners to deliver high-quality solutions.
+ Write clean, maintainable code that adheres to established standards and supports code reviews.
+ Support production Guidewire applications, including on-call responsibilities.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
+ 3-5 years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter development.
+ Proven experience developing in GOSU for PolicyCenter configurations.
+ Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment practices ideally in Guidewire Cloud.
+ Strong background in object-oriented programming, with experience in Java/J2EE, REST APIs, XML, SQL, or similar technologies.
