ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure event staff are in their assigned rolesCheck placement of security screening devices and ticket scanners.Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable lawsAssists Guest Experience Manager with set-up of all security screening equipment, signage, and other itemsOversees check-in and check-out of all guest experience staff, including uniform and equipment distributionResponds to and records proper documentation for any incidents that occurAssists guests with customer concerns, including ticket resolutionAssists with traffic and parking management, as necessaryOther duties and responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS·Work independently, exercising judgment and initiative.Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results.Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, guests and others encountered in the course of employment.Follow all policies/procedures, risk management, safety precautions, rules/regulations and emergency procedures established at the facility.Demonstrate knowledge of practices and procedures related to facility securityMeet the physical demands of the job. Must perform strenuous physical duties at times, including lifting, carrying, moving and climbing.Follow oral and written instructions.         Be licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle in the United States.Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or GED, and one year experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/CONDITIONS

Majority of work is indoors, outdoor work will be required at timesAt times may require being outside during adverse weatherMay be exposed to a high noise level, strobes and flashing lights for extended periods of time, related to event type

HOURS OF WORK AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

This position may require working extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed.
