Position Details:
This APP functions in the outpatient setting caring for a GU solid tumor oncology patients and demonstrates appropriate critical thinking and interpersonal skills when working in a fast paced, high acuity work environment. Works well with multidisciplinary team. Qualified candidates will be able to perform thorough history and physical assessment.
Ideal Candidate:
At least 1 year of experience in hematology/oncology working as an APPEffective communication (written and verbal)Willingness to collaborate closely with clinical teamCurrent on best practice and standards of careDisplays self-initiative to learnPosition Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program. Current license to practice as an NP or PA in North Carolina. Current prescriptive privileges and DEA license required. BLS for healthcare provided from a required.Nurse practitioners required to have Master's degree or Doctorate in nursing practice.Physician Assistants with certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred.
