Job Description
As a Ground Support Equipment Technician, you will perform diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on aircraft ground support equipment. This role requires troubleshooting and repairing equipment failures, diagnosing engine issues, and utilizing diagnostic software for Powertrain Management Systems.
ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair mechanical issues on Diesel, Gas, and LP engines.Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems using schematics.Utilize diagnostic software to troubleshoot Powertrain Management Systems.Complete vehicle repair orders and documentation to maintain quality standards.Communicate safety concerns and service requests to management.Essential Skills2 or more years of experience in related field.Strong experience with electrical and hydraulic systems on GSE.Proficiency in using hand and power tools.Preventive maintenance and troubleshooting skills.High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification/diploma preferred.Valid driver's license.Ability to obtain and maintain an airport-issued ID badge.Additional Skills & QualificationsBasic hand tools required.Experience with diagnostic software.Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work on-site at an Air Cargo facility with a first shift schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The position offers a dynamic environment with hands-on tasks and requires adherence to safety protocols.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
