GSE Mechanic – Medium Duty Trucks & Ground Support Equipment

Location: Franklin Park, Illinois

Schedule: Sunday–Wednesday, 11:30 AM – 10:00 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team and support the maintenance and repair of medium duty trucks, diesel engines, air brakes, and hydraulic systems. This is a hands-on role where you’ll diagnose electrical issues, interpret schematics, and ensure our fleet and equipment remain in top condition. You’ll be part of a growing international group that values teamwork, safety, and employee development.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance on medium duty trucks.Diagnose and repair diesel engine issues.Maintain and repair air brake systems.Read and interpret technical schematics.Work on hydraulic systems and perform related repairs.Diagnose electrical issues and conduct wiring diagnostics.Address check engine lights and drivability concerns.Essential Skills & QualificationsExperience in preventive maintenance and hydraulics.Proficiency with diesel engines and truck diagnostics.Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.Valid driver’s license.Ability to obtain an airport SIDA badge.Minimum 1 year of experience with diesel engines.At least 1 year of experience with hydraulics.Why Work Here

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
