**Job Title: GSE Mechanic**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled GSE Mechanic to perform repairs and regular maintenance on deicing trucks and service vehicles. The role requires ensuring vehicles are clean and in good working order, and promptly reporting any anomalies or questions to the supervisor.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform repairs and regular maintenance on deicing trucks and service vehicles.
+ Ensure vehicles are clean and in good working order.
+ Promptly report any anomalies or questions to the supervisor.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in repairing heavy-duty diesel trucks for at least two (2) to five (5) years.
+ Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technical, Automotive, or Agricultural certification.
+ Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronics, and hydraulic systems.
+ Valid driver’s license.
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Access Identity Card (RAIC).
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with Freightliner, Mercedes, and/or Volvo equipment is an asset.
+ Proficiency in using office software, diagnostic tools, and other computer skills.

**Work Environment**
Candidates will be working in a mechanic shop within an Airport Hangar. The culture is laid back, with a supportive team environment, working alongside lead mechanics. The position is during the 1st shift, Monday to Friday, with flexibility required to work weekends if needed in emergencies.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Newark, New Jersey.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $72800.00/yr.
