Group Product Manager, Uber Courier

**About the Role**
As a Group Product Manager for Uber Courier, you will be responsible for the scaling the popular and fast-growing C2C delivery product -- Uber Courier. This business was born in the pandemic and has found PMF around the globe. We've crossed the 0-to-1 chasm and we're looking for a rockstar product leader to grow it from 1-to-10.
This role encompasses rider and driver experience, pricing and matching optimization, and customer acquisition channels, both in-app and out-of-app. This role requires someone with a founder mindset, who has past experience working on and scaling consumer products. Past management experience is a requirement. An understanding of marketplaces and pricing/matching optimization is a bonus.
**What the Candidate Will Do**
1. Work with engineering, data science, design on prioritizing features and building high quality product
2. Work with operations and regional teams to translate a global product into local operational contexts and nuances.
3. Work with leadership on long term strategy and vision for Uber Courier.
4. Constantly learn from our users about the use cases they care about and build expansion opportunities.
**Basic Qualifications**
01. 8+ years of product experience delivering successful and innovative products
02. 4+ years of experience managing PMs and building product organizations
03. Excellent track record of building best-in-class consumer products
04. Customer obsession and exceptional user and product instincts
05. Ability to take on complex product challenges and find elegant, simplifying solutions
06. Proficiency with data: You can find the data you need and turn it into an insightful story, demonstrating its value in decision-making
07. Demonstrated a strong sense of ownership for business and product growth.
08. A high bar across the board, from your own contributions to the people you work with, to the products you build
09. A true passion for Uber's mission, our products, and the company's hybrid technology/operations nature
10. A strong desire to grow and learn
**Preferred Qualifications**
1. Founder background, either owning business lines inside larger companies or at startups
2. Experience owning and leading strategy for lines of business
3. Experience at a high-growth company
4. Entrepreneurial spirit, demonstrated through identifying and executing on opportunities in ambiguous problem spaces
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$252,000 per year - USD$280,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$252,000 per year - USD$280,000 per year.
For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
