Salary Range $17.00 - $17.00 Hourly Description Position Summary: Responsibilities for insuring that clients receive all appropriate services, as well as performance of other work related duties as assigned. Essential Job Functions: + Facilitate weekly group sessions adhering to The Strengthening Families Program Curriculum. + Facilitate other family group activities as requested. + Will implement group sessions maintaining the fidelity of the strengthening Families curriculum. + Completes assessments for families participating in the group sessions + Will conduct client enrollment assessments for assigned clients. + Will provide follow-up services for all assigned clients. + Prepare session materials prior to the beginning of group session(s) weekly. + Assist with site set-up and preparations prior to the beginning of group session(s) weekly. + Assist with clean up and breakdown of site after group sessions weekly. + When in contact with clients, will maintain consistent implementation of behavioral management strategies. + Administer client satisfaction survey and group session surveys to clients as instructed. + Will adhere to confidentiality regulations regarding client information. + Responsible for maintaining all clients group notes in compliance with agency rules and standards. + Responsible for all follow-up and client file updates of client’s progress and achievements. + Responsible for discussing possible referral of clients for additional support services with Program Assistant and/or Program Director. + Assist with recruitment and presentations as requested by Program Director. + Will participate in weekly staff meetings with team. + Must attend and participate in all training activities, and supervisory sessions as scheduled. + Participate in quality improvement meetings and activities. + Perform other duties assigned by the Program Director Qualifications Education: + Bachelor’s Degree in health services or related field preferred, and/or at least one year background and experience working with at-risk youth. Experience and Competencies: Working Conditions: + Work is primarily performed in an office or residential treatment setting; and + Some outdoor activities may be required. Essential Physical and Mental Demands of the Job The employee must be able to perform the following essential duties and activities with or without accommodation: Physical Demands: + Requires mobility and physical activity: Having an adequate range of body motion and mobility, to work in the office environment including standing and walking (even and uneven surfaces) to interact with co-workers in the office environment, sitting for extended periods of time, bending, twisting, reaching, balancing, occasional lifting and carrying of up to 30 pounds. Constant use of computer and telephone systems is required which includes coordination of eye and hand, and fine manipulation by the hands (typing, writing, and working with files). Requires the ability to operate a motor vehicle. + Requires talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Talking is required to impart oral information to employees, clients, patients, and the public, and in those activities in which the employee is required to convey detailed or important spoken instructions to others accurately, loudly, or quickly. + Requires hearing: Hearing is required to receive and communicate detailed information through oral communication. + Requires seeing: Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less as well as vision adequate for driving a motor vehicle. This factor is required to complete paperwork for many of the employee’s essential job functions and when driving a motor vehicle. + The normal work routine involves no exposure to human blood, body fluids or tissues. Job duties do not include performing or assisting in emergency medical care or first aid. Mental Demands: + Requires the ability to collect and analyze complex numerical and written data and verbal information to reach logical conclusions. + Requires the ability to work and cooperate with clients, co-workers, managers, the public and employees at all levels in order to exchange ideas, information, instructions and opinions. + Requires the ability to work under time deadlines.
