**Job Title: Group Assistant**
**Location: Washington, D.C. (Hybrid – Onsite 4 days/week)**
**Duration: 18 Months**
**Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week, with approximately 2 hours/week overtime**
**Pay rate range: $24 to $27/hr**
**Key Responsibilities**
+ **Administrative & Team Support**
+ Manage team calendar and meeting logistics
+ Provide leadership support (travel, expenses, time off tracking)
+ Backup administrative support to CVP when in D.C.
+ Enforce team policies and procedures
+ **Event & Space Coordination**
+ Organize and manage catering, room bookings, team events
+ Stock supplies and manage shared spaces
+ **New Hire Onboarding & Travel Management**
+ Support onboarding process for new employees
+ Coordinate complex domestic and international travel
+ **Cross-Functional Collaboration**
+ Maintain effective communication across team members and stakeholders
+ Serve as liaison between team and leadership
+ **Resource and Project Management**
+ Own ad hoc projects as needed
+ Ability to lift and move up to 20 lbs for event setups **Candidate Requirements**
+ **Years of Experience** : 2–3 years in administrative, event coordination, or support roles
+ **Education/Certifications** : Not required
+ **Disqualifiers** : Frequent job changes, HR-only backgrounds, industry mismatch
+ **Preferred Background** : Prior Microsoft experience, adaptable mindset, high integrity **Top 3 Required Skills**
1. **Team Support & Event Coordination** – Minimum 2 years
2. **Microsoft Office Suite** – Minimum 2 years
3. **Leadership Support (Travel/Expenses)** – Minimum 2 years **Preferred Qualifications**
+ 3+ years of administrative experience in fast-paced environments
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Positive, energetic, and highly detail-oriented
+ Strong cross-team collaboration and organizational skills
+ Ability to maintain discretion and handle confidential information
