**About the Role:**
Do you enjoy being active and working outdoors? Our Groundskeeper role is perfect for someone who takes pride in keeping things tidy. This position involves hands-on work: mowing, trimming, planting, and maintaining all aspects of our clients hospital grounds in Lima, OH. Should you have the skills, a valid driver's license, and enthusiasm for working outside, we want to hear from you!
This job is part of the Landscaping function. They are responsible for the delivery of gardening and landscaping services to the organization or client.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Perform all landscape responsibilities within project deadlines. This includes mowing grass, trimming bushes, mulch, maintaining flower beds, trash removal, maintenance of parking lots, snow removal, vendor management and other various tasks.
+ Conduct daily maintenance requirements on site.
+ Assist supervisor with regular site inspections.
+ Protect the organization and clients from damage and loss. Report landscape damage to supervisor.
+ Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
+ Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
+ Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
**What You’ll Need:**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent experience, or up to 2 years of relevant experience.
+ Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
+ Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting heavy items.
+ Valid driver's license.
+ Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
+ Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mentality.
+ MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook. CMMS experience preferred but not required.

The minimum salary for the Groundskeeper position is $16 per hour and the maximum salary is $18 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
