Job Description The Grounds Maintenance Associate III will be overseeing day-to-day park operations, including staff management, general parks maintenance, and equipment upkeep and repair. The incumbent will be responsible for assessing, developing and implementing in-house training related to grounds and maintenance. In addition, this position will inspect parks to ensure they meet safety and maintenance standards. Essential Duties + Prioritizing and assigning work to direct reports, providing training and guidance as needed + Approving time for direct reports and ensuring staff follows policies and procedures + Conducting performance evaluations + Making recommendations in hiring, terminating, and disciplinary actions + Completing accident and personal injury reports + Participating in budget preparation and monitoring of expenditures + Creates purchase orders for materials needed in daily operation + Performs monthly inspections of assets + Creates service requests for plumbing, electrical, and carpentry needs + Maintains and verifies equipment inventory. Other Job Requirements/Information + This job may require on-call rotation and emergency after hours, weekends, and/or holidays. Grade The grade for this position is B22(2). Salary will be dependent on education and experience.
