Job Title: Grinding Operator

Job Description

We are a secondary machine shop located in Saint Marys, Pennsylvania, specializing in precision machining services. Our facility spans 17,500 sq. ft. and is equipped with advanced CNC lathes and machining centers, allowing us to handle high-volume jobs efficiently. We are renowned for our expertise in grinding, drilling, tapping, milling, and slotting. We seek an entry-level candidate for the grinding operator role, who is eager to learn and grow within our team.

Responsibilities

Operate grinding equipment and machinery.Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.Assist with material handling and inventory management.Collaborate with team members and actively participate in training sessions to operate machinery effectively.

Essential Skills

Mechanical aptitude is preferred.Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with machine operation, inspection, and blueprint reading.Familiarity with the use of tape measures, hand tools, and power tools.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Marys, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $13.00 - $13.00/hr.
