**Job Title: Grinder/Shop Parts Specialist** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Grinder/Shop Parts Specialist to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is crucial in ensuring the precision and quality of our metal products. **Responsibilities** + Operate grinding machinery and hand tools to process metal parts. + Measure materials accurately using tape measures, micrometers, and calipers. + Perform deburring and general labor tasks as needed. + Engage in machine operation and metal fabrication activities. + Handle forged metals and alloys with precision and care. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in operating grinders and grinding tools. + Experience with hand tools and machine operation. + Ability to measure materials accurately using measuring devices. + Understanding of metal fabrication and forging processes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in a forging environment is preferred. + Familiarity with production and manufacturing operations. **Why Work Here?** Join a team where your contributions directly impact the quality of products. The role involves the use of various hand and power tools, and appropriate safety gear is provided to ensure a secure working environment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irwindale, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
