Grinder/shop Labor
**Industrial Grinder** **Paying - $22/ HR** **Location - NW Portland, Oregon, 97210** **Responsibilities & Qualifications:** + Grind metal parts to ensure tolerances are accurate using belt grinders and hand grinders. + Assist with plant cleanup in the foundry. + Use of loose fitting respirator when grinding. + May help with mold machine operations and departments in the foundry when needed. **Environment/ Shift:** + Hot foundry manufacturing environment making metal cast parts from sand molds. Industrial, work around heavy machinery and equipment. Loud in most areas. PPE worn includes hard hat, earplugs, safety glasses, steel toed boots, gloves, high vis vest, and in some departments a loose fitting respirator. + Day shift with regular scheduled hours from 4am-2:30pm, Monday-Thursday.
