Job Title: Grinder Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Grinder Operator to perform precision grinding of component pieces, ensuring they conform to blueprints and drawings. The position offers the opportunity to work on either the AM or PM shift, with optional overtime available on weekends.

Responsibilities

Operate machine after setup and verification by supervisor.Verify tolerances by inspecting the first five pieces and bring them to an inspector for final inspection.Report any variances to the supervisor.Continue running the job per blueprint and drawing specifications once pieces pass inspection.Deliver completed orders to the shipping department.Maintain a clean work environment.Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations.Use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as instructed.Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

At least 1 year of machine operating experience.Ability to lift 50 lbs.General labor and production skills.Attention to detail.Ability to operate material handling machinery.Ability to follow written and verbal directions in English.Basic computer skills.Ability to communicate in English.Ability to take initiative.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience using hand and power tools.Ability to accurately count parts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
