**Job Title: Blancher/Grinder Operator** We are seeking to add a dedicated Machine Operator to our Grinding Department. The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and managing machinery, maintaining quality control, and supporting overall plant operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring all production tasks are completed according to safety and quality standards and requires a strong attention to detail and commitment to process adherence. Responsibilities + Operate and manage machinery in the Grinding Department. + Maintain quality control throughout the production process. + Support overall plant operations to ensure efficiency. + Adhere to safety and quality standards at all times. Essential Skills + Experience in machine operation with at least 2 years operating (Blanchard Grinder preferred) + At least 1-2 years experience operating a disk machine. + Proficiency in metal finishing, hand and power tools, and metal grinding. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in sheet metal work, including fabrication and polishing. + Knowledge of metal cutting and metallurgy. + Any experience within Manufacturing Metal Machining is preferred. Work Environment The position is based in a machine shop located in Benicia. The environment involves working with advanced machinery and requires adherence to safety protocols. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to hire position based out of Benicia, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
