**Job Title: Grinder Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our Grinding Department. The role involves operating and managing machinery, ensuring quality control, and supporting overall plant operations. You will be responsible for completing production tasks according to safety and quality standards, requiring strong attention to detail and a commitment to process adherence. **Responsibilities** + Operate and manage machinery within the Grinding Department. + Ensure all production tasks are completed according to safety and quality standards. + Maintain quality control throughout the production process. + Support overall plant operations and collaborate with team members. + Operate the Blanchard Grinder and Double Disk machine with precision. **Essential Skills** + Machine operation experience. + Metal finishing skills. + Proficiency with hand and power tools. + Metal grinding expertise. + At least 2 years of experience operating a Blanchard Grinder. + 1-2 years of experience operating a Double Disk machine. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in sheet metal work and fabrication. + Polishing and metal cutting skills. + Understanding of metallurgy. + Preferred experience in Manufacturing Metal Machining. **Work Environment** Work in a machine shop located in Benicia, equipped with advanced machinery and tools. The role involves working in a dynamic and collaborative environment with a focus on safety and quality standards. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Benicia, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
