Coperion is currently seeking a **Grinder** to support our location in Whitewater, WI. The Grinder/Bead Blast Operator supports the activities of the Operations department by setting up, maintaining, operating, and cleaning grinding and bead blast equipment to assure a quality product finish that meets specifications. We have a 5S environment, very clean production floor and great people to work with! **Schedule: 1st shift Monday-Thursday 6 am - 3 pm & Friday 6 am - Noon** **Responsibilities:** Sets up equipment, chooses nozzles per requirements, and adjusts mixture of air with sand for best efficiency and finish + Exercise skill to remove adhering sand, scale, residue from parts/products and to inspect and provide a finished part that meets requirements + Operate stationary and portable grinders and other hand tools to remove oxidation and foreign matter, burrs, weld spatter, etc. from stainless steel + Grinds and polishes weld seams to obtain a matched grained finish on product surfaces per drawings and specifications + Support our lean manufacturing process with 5S + Adhere to ISO 9001 company standards, work instructions and procedures **Required Education/Experience/Skills:** + High school diploma or equivalent + 6 months or more related experience + Ability to read blueprints preferred + Basic computer knowledge + Dependability a must **Benefits:** Our benefit package includes medical, dental, and vision plans, vacation/sick pay, life insurance, short & long-term disability, paid parental leave and 401k retirement plan.
