Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Grinder 1 Associate to join their team. As a Grinder 1, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the machining and finishing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Grinder 1

Location: Lincolnshire

Pay Range:$16.50-$18.00ph

Shift: 2nd Shift – 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

What's the Job?

Operate grinding machines to conform parts to blueprints and drawings Verify tolerances through inspection with assistance from team leads or supervisors Report any variances or issues to supervisors promptly Bring completed orders to shipping and maintain a clean work environment Follow all safety and sanitation regulations, using PPE as required

What's Needed?

High School diploma or equivalent preferred Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment Enthusiastic to learn the trade of precision grinding Comfortable working around machinery in a fast-paced setting Basic knowledge of measurement tools including micrometers, roundness gauge, comparator, and cylindricity gauge
