Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team, responsible for preparing and executing daily menus with precision and care. The role involves food preparation, cooking, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met throughout the day.

Responsibilities

Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions.Serve meals or prepare for delivery using correct portioning and ensuring food is at the correct temperature.Taste all prepared food items to ensure quality.Transport food to and from service areas, and assist during service.Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, storing or discarding excess food according to safe food-handling procedures.Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean, ensuring food and supply items are stored correctly.Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.Assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting.Assist in ordering and receiving all food and supplies.Report needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor.Participate in in-service and safety meetings.Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.Perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures, following HACCP standards.

Essential Skills

Proficient in food preparation and cooking techniques.Experience as a line cook, grill cook, or prep cook.Strong knife skills.Knowledge of food safety and inventory management.Must have a valid Food Handlers Card.

Shift

6:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday - Friday)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
