Graphic Designer III
**Our Fortune 500 client (One of the world's largest Beauty companies) in New York, NY is looking for hardworking, motivated talent to join their innovative team.** **Job Title: Graphic Designer III** **Pay Rate: $45-50/hr** **Location: Remote but local to NYC, NY** **Day In Life:** • Responsible for the entire brand e-comm experience • 50 unique projects in a calendar year • Will serve as the lead of graphic design • Proven capability to effectively work independently. • Strategy for graphic design, day-to-day design, all digital deliverables • High project planning capabilities • Cross-functional partnership with marketing • Visual and creative aspects that we need to bring to life, create net new graphics following guidelines of existing visuals, maintaining cohesion while being innovative • High-level expertise in e-comm digital project management **Day to Day** • Projects come from marketing • From there, marketing will work with a larger agency to create the visuals • This team creates the e-comm visuals to complement the larger visual from the agency • All pieces come to together and are passed off to this consultant • From there, this consultant will ask tactical and qualifying questions about how to bring this to life further • Add and build on the visual, make callouts regarding deviations and cohesion, giving consultative and strategic feedback • This consultant will have the perfect marriage between professionalism, creative/artistic, and consumer driven focus - accountable for this lens and will drive its excellence from start to finish • From brief - this consultant will create a graphic design proposal - round 1 review with the immediate team, round 2 with marketing team (consultant will be on these calls to hear the feedback directly from marketing time), revisions are made and then sent back to marketing plus leadership - the goal is to reduce the number of rounds of revisions • May be in senior management meetings on an adhoc basis depending on subject matter, • Consultant should be able to read between the lines of feedback shes received from all parties **Job Description:** • Create various designs, concepts, and graphics (advertising, packaging, merchandising, collateral, digital) to promote Maybellines Global Brand Image using the highest standards of quality, technical expertise, and aesthetics. • As part of the Maybelline Global ECOM team, the graphic designers scope of work spans across ECOM channels, including social commerce, for both developed and emerging markets. **What You Will Do:** • Content thought leadership - partner with the ECOM team members to create best-in-class digital content experiences across the consumer journey within ECOM digital channels • Serve as day-to-day partner with ECOM team members for graphic design strategy across all product launches/renovations/re-animations, to assure content quality & consistency, consumer-first approach & brand image elevation • Act as graphic design content strategy & execution subject matter expert - be seen as a go-to partner for ECOM graphic design concepts and content solutions • Be a bridge between strategy & creativity to enable on-brand, on-strategy & on-time delivery of ECOM dossiers **Qualifications:** • 3-5 Years in BEAUTY/FRAGRANCE/FASHION industry experience as graphic designer • Passion for fashion and beauty design with impeccable production skills • Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and a strong understanding of the packaging production process • Self-motivated with the ability to juggle multiple projects • Strong time-management skills with high-levels of organization & attention to detail • Meticulous with design details and attention to quality • Aptitude to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
