Summary:

This job is about making sure a transportation agency follows federal rules and stays compliant. You’ll create a system to monitor compliance, check current processes, identify risks, and fix issues. You’ll also handle audits and requests from federal agencies, write reports, and coordinate documents across departments to meet deadlines.

Role Accountabilities:

Establish a Compliance Oversight and Monitoring Program Plan and framework for internal oversight of federal compliance. The plan will, at a minimum, (a) evaluate existing procedures for adherence to federal requirements, (b) spot check adherence to following existing policies and procedures.Collaborate with GDC departments to identify risks(s) and establish a methodology for selecting and ranking compliance risks by priority and impact to the HTP.Evaluate the highest-ranked risks for adherence to federal rules, regulations, and guidelines. Produce reports and recommendations for corrective action to GDC leadership, while monitoring the implementation to ensure compliance with federal requirements.Tracking letters, audit requests, and reviews initiated by USDOT, FTA, or FRA.Lead the drafting of responses while providing strategic direction to GDC leadership. Manage the request and receipt of supporting documents from relevant departments to ensure submittals in advance of deadlines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related discipline7-10 years of prior experience leading an oversight program that measures compliance with FTA experience, including prior experience working as a grant recipient.Strong experience developing and operationalizing new Programs within a fast-paced environment.Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $128000.00 - $195000.00/yr.
