Required Education:

4 Year Degree All interested candidates will need to successfully enroll in a graduate program at Waynesburg University in order to be eligible for the assistantship. A bachelor's degree in journalism, English, communication or a sport-related field is required. Applicants should have solid writing and interpersonal communication skills, along with previous experience working with Stat Crew or NCAA statistical software for at least one of the following: baseball, softball, basketball, football, soccer, volleyball and women’s lacrosse. In addition, the successful candidate should have experience working with desktop publishing software programs InDesign, Boxout and PhotoShop, along with Microsoft Word and Excel. Applicants should have experience in website maintenance and design along with promotion on social media platforms. An individual must be willing to work during home events, at night and on weekends and may be asked to travel from time-to-time.
