Priority will be to undertake responsibilities in areas of worship ministry and/or relational ministry. Qualified applicants will also be considered for responsibilities related to communications and data-base management projects. + Relational ministry may include small groups, Bible studies, discipleship efforts, and leadership development + Worship ministry includes providing musical leadership for chapels and helping coordinate worship services + For communications, serve as point-person in developing a team of students in a coordinated effort to include their technological and graphic talents, fulfill the goals of a communication plan, and help maintain/oversee webpages and social media + For the management of information, assist with the development phase of a database management project, continue to maintain the database through the year, and establish procedures for ongoing maintenance + Perform other duties as assigned in support of Campus Ministry and the University’s _Mission_ **Requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree is required and the position is conditional based on acceptance into a University of Dubuque Masters’ program + Ability to understand and support the Christian identity of UD and the purpose of Campus Ministry, which includes what is expressed in Campus Ministry’s Mission and Values (https://www.dbq.edu/CampusMinistry/AboutCampusMinistry/OurMissionandValues/) and the Lindsay Endowment (https://www.dbq.edu/CampusMinistry/AboutCampusMinistry/History/LindsayEndowment/) + For relational and worship ministry, belief and trust in our Triune God and a faith consistent with the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds + For worship ministry, musical and/or vocal skills and the ability to lead worship + For communications and the management of information, proficiency in the use of technology and a variety of computer programs, including experience in and passion for graphic design, communication technology, and database management All graduate tuition is waived for the student for the term in which they serve as a GA. In return for a waiver of tuition, the assistantship recipient agrees to provide service to the University equivalent to twenty (20) hours per week.
