Scope of Job
Responsibilities will consist of assisting in all aspects of athletics marketing including but not limited to:
· Oversee marketing efforts for select sports and serve a secondary role in revenue-producing sports.
· Assist with digital marketing campaigns including email, social media, and digital advertising.
· Creation and execution of gameday scripts and end-game presentation assets.
· Design and distribution of all marketing collateral and promotions.
· Development and implementation of marketing strategies to increase exposure, boost attendance, and enhance the gameday experience at assigned home events.
· Assist in management of day-to-day office responsibilities as assigned.
· Manage and increase participation in the student section – The Herd.
· Manage assigned student staff.
· Assist in the development of a football game day experience.
· Manage UTRGV’s presence at community events.
Discipline Specific Required Qualifications
● Currently enrolled and in good standing
in a graduate degree program at
UTRGV .
● Strong communication skills (both oral
and in writing).
● Attention to detail.
