**Description** **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Grade 3 Stationary Engineers** for projects located in the **Baltimore, MD area.** This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is **$40/hour** based on experience and skill level. If you are a Grade 3 Stationary Engineer and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! **Job Scope:** + Operate and monitor stationary equipment + Record temperature, pressure, water levels, and fuel consumption in logbooks + Read meters and gauges at scheduled intervals + Conduct routine inspections: oiling & lubricating equipment, tightening fittings, replacing gaskets, valves, and gauges + Assist with furnace and boiler maintenance and repair + Perform water titration testing and adding prescribed chemicals such as water softeners + Clean and maintain fire and water sides of fuel-burning equipment, pumps, screens, pipes, and gratings + Remove ashes and clinkers + Switch to backup equipment when necessary + Shut down equipment as directed + Report unsafe conditions **Company Details** Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
