Job Title: Stationary Engineer

Job Description

As a Stationary Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing problems, performing repairs, and conducting routine preventive maintenance on equipment. You will also maintain and update all process documentation while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of steam boilers, chillers, HVAC equipment, controls, and auxiliary and accessory equipment such as safety valves, pressure gauges, pumps, motors, fans, and compressors necessary for the boiler room and total power plant.

ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems.Perform repairs and routine preventive maintenance on equipment.Maintain and update process documentation.Ensure safe and efficient operation of steam boilers, chillers, HVAC equipment, and controls.Operate and maintain auxiliary equipment such as safety valves, pressure gauges, pumps, motors, fans, and compressors.Essential SkillsActive 3rd grade stationary engineer license.3+ years of experience in maintaining boilers and chillers.Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing boilers, chillers, electrical systems, and HVAC equipment.Knowledge of electrical wiring, blueprint reading, hydraulics, and PLC troubleshooting.Ability to perform conduit bending, preventive maintenance, and electrical troubleshooting.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with industrial wiring and installation.Skills in pulling wire, pneumatic systems, and running conduit.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will work in an older manufacturing facility with older machinery in a dirtier environment. The facility operates with production weeks from 6am-6pm and non-production weeks from 6am-2pm. The role requires flexibility for swing shifts and 12-hour shifts every other week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85280.00 - $85280.00/yr.
