Job Description One of Insight Global’s retail clients is seeking a Golang Developer to join their Members Mark Community (MMC) initiative—a greenfield member‑engagement platform being built for Sam’s Club’s Member’s Mark brand. MMC is designed to give members a space to submit ideas, provide feedback, and influence future product creation. This Golang Developer will help continue to build the backend foundation of this new platform, focusing on microservices, event‑driven services, API development, and cloud‑native performance. This engineer will collaborate closely with data, cloud, and frontend teams to deliver scalable features powering surveys, idea submission, member insights, and platform integrations. Skills and Requirements Deep experience writing production‑level Go services Strong understanding of: Concurrency (goroutines, channels) REST and/or gRPC API development Performance optimization & memory management Experience building microservices in Go Experience with cloud‑native deployments (any major cloud) Working knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS, etc.) Experience with PostgreSQL Exposure to event‑driven architectures Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Experience mentoring or contributing to platform‑level decisions
