Job Title: GMP Technician

Job Description

As a GMP Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of Genentech facilities following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). You will work in a manufacturing environment where it is essential to wear comfortable yet presentable attire, including PPE bunny suits, to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain the cleanroom manufacturing area while wearing PPE bunny suits.Fill out FDA logs and adhere to Good Documentation Practices in real time.Perform various cleaning tasks outside of cleanrooms, including cleaning tables, break rooms, lunchrooms, and doors.Mop floors, take out the trash, clean windows, and perform restroom cleaning.Use push mops for floor care and vacuuming.Clean stainless steel surfaces and sweep with a broom and mop.Restock restrooms and break/lunch rooms.Conduct some maintenance or repair work on facilities or grounds.

Essential Skills

Ability to read, write, and speak basic English for filling out logs.Friendly and approachable demeanor for potential interactions with people.Required attire includes khakis (no jeans), tucked in shirt, and no headphones.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

1 year of experience in cleaning/janitorial work/general labor preferred.

Work Environment

Work shifts are from 3:30 PM to 12 AM, with options to work Friday to Tuesday, Wednesday to Sunday, or Tuesday to Saturday. Training for the first three weeks will be on the day shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vacaville, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
