This position is responsible for leading the design, execution, and continuous improvement of training programs that support operational performance, employee development, and client service excellence. The role also oversees succession planning, mentoring initiatives, and a team of training professionals focused on onboarding new hires and upskilling current team members.Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Learning & Development Strategy and Leadership
Lead the global training strategy for Lease Administration, ensuring alignment with Cushman & Wakefield’s operational goals and client service standards.Continuously evolve the global training program to reflect changing market dynamics, evolving employee profiles, and business priorities—integrating hands-on account exposure, practical application, and scenario-based learning to ensure real-world readiness and long-term skill retention.Manage a team of training specialists responsible for onboarding new hires and delivering ongoing learning programs across regions.Manage all aspects of talent development for a global team of Training Specialists, including performance evaluation, compensation planning, career path development, recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and day-to-day support to ensure team effectiveness and engagement. Align the right individuals to the right roles to optimize team performance and growth. Act as a player-coach by actively participating in training delivery, modeling best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability. Collaborate with global and regional leadership to assess training needs, identify skill gaps, and implement scalable learning solutions.Drive ongoing improvement of the training program to ensure team members are well-positioned to succeed in their roles in a timely manner.Drive the adoption of mentoring and knowledge-sharing frameworks to support career progression and succession planning.Content & Curriculum Design
Develop and maintain a comprehensive, modular training curriculum tailored to various roles within Lease Administration, including lease abstraction, data management, quality control, client reporting, account management and portfolio administration-related financial management.Create engaging, interactive learning content using instructional design best practices and tools such as Articulate, Captivate, and Adobe Creative Suite.Standardize global training materials while allowing for regional customization to meet local compliance and client-specific requirements.Oversee the development of eLearning modules, instructor-led training, job aids, and knowledge base articles to support blended learning approaches.Ensure all training content is regularly reviewed and updated to reflect process changes, system enhancements, and client expectations.Maintain a centralized training content portal by ensuring all materials are current, accurately versioned, and securely stored. Regularly update the portal with the latest training modules, remove outdated or obsolete content, and implement robust version control practices. Manage user access to safeguard content integrity and take proactive measures to prevent data loss or unauthorized deletion.Measurement and Reporting
Design and maintain dashboards to track training participation, completion rates, effectiveness, learning outcomes, and performance improvement metrics.Leverage analytics, including employee and leadership feedback, internal trackers indicative of service quality and issues, surveys and other tools to inform decision-making and demonstrate training ROIs.Collaborate with Business Intelligence and Operations teams to integrate training metrics with broader performance dashboards.Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership using data visualizations and executive summaries.Stakeholder Engagement & Continuous Improvement
Partner with HR, Operations, Technology Data Services (TDS) and Client Services to align training with performance management and employee engagement strategies.Facilitate feedback loops with learners, managers, and clients to continuously improve training effectiveness and relevance.Stay current on industry trends, lease administration best practices, and learning technologies to enhance program delivery and learner engagement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in training and development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Comparable experience as a teacher in academia applies.Experience in commercial real estate, lease administration, or property management preferred.Strong knowledge of lease abstraction, data management, and compliance processes preferred.Proven ability to lead global training programs and manage cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Workday Learning), instructional design tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate), and virtual training platforms (e.g., MS Teams, Zoom).Advanced Excel and data visualization skills (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for dashboard development and reporting.Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation design and delivery, meeting facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.Sensitivity to cultural differences in learning styles and communication.Strong passion for developing others through teaching and knowledge sharing.Cushman & Wakefield is an Equal Opportunity employer to all protected groups, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.
