Are you an experienced customs compliance professional with a passion for international trade? Do you have a strong background in tariff code classification, export controls, and customs regulations? We’re looking for a Global Trade Compliance Specialist to join our team and help drive compliance across multiple regions.
Location: Flexible/Remote, could be Poland, UK or Romania
Travel: within EU 5-10%
Key Responsibilities:
Resolve Complex Customs Compliance Issues: Analyze and resolve customs compliance challenges, providing practical and compliant solutions to management and business partners.LTSD Management, Preferential Calculation and FTAExpertise in Tariff Code Classification & Export Controls: Ensure accurate classification and compliance with country of origin determination and export controls.Project Participation & Audits: Contribute to Global Trade Compliance projects and lead or support audits to ensure regulatory compliance.Compliance Inquiries: Respond to queries from internal teams, import/export agents, and customs brokers across various regions.Data Analysis & Recovery Claims: Gather and analyze data for the submission of recovery claims related to customs compliance.Training & Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training sessions on global trade compliance topics to ensure best practices across the organization.Knowledge:
3-5+ years of experience in customs compliance, with a focus on tariff classification, export controls, and country of origin determination.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with SAP and Global Trade Management systems.Proven ability to navigate customs regulations and resolve complex compliance issues.Ability to work in a multinational company with a remote, cross-functional team.Customs-related certifications (e.g., licensed customs broker) are a plus.Why Join Us?
