As an Associate on the US Interest Rate Derivatives Strategy team within the Commercial & Investment Bank’s research department, you will generate impactful research, develop trading strategies, and interact with a diverse set of institutional clients. Job responsibilities

Write and produce regular research reports, including flagship publications and special topic notesLiaise with economists and strategists to formulate forecasts and market viewsBuild new analytical frameworks and datasets, and maintain or improve existing onesConduct research into innovative and market-relevant topics in US fixed income derivativesInteract with internal sales and trading teams and external institutional clients to fulfill requests and deliver research views

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Degree in Finance/Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Quantitative Sciences, or similar disciplineExcellent quantitative skills; experience with financial modelingStrong programming skills in a language such as Python or MATLABStrong written and oral communication skillsAbility to multi-task and collaborate within a team environmentStrong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environmentFamiliarity with economic datasets and experience navigating databases through interfaces like Bloomberg
