As an Associate in Automated Trading Strategies within the Fixed Income Financing team, you will play a key role in developing and executing systematic trading strategies. You will work closely with a globally distributed team, collaborating across trading, quantitative research, and technology. Job Responsibilities
Analyse data to identify patterns and revenue opportunitiesConduct back testing and assess pricing, risk management, and execution strategiesExpand the group’s library of modelling, analytics, and automation toolsReview trading performance and make data-driven decisionsMaintain and improve trading software systems and toolsResolve day-to-day trading issuesCollaborate effectively with internal teams, including voice trading desks, sales, product, and technologyCommunicate clearly in both written and verbal formats within a globally distributed teamContribute to a wide range of responsibilities spanning trading, quantitative research, and technologyParticipate in on-call support as required
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, or other quantitative fieldsRelevant full-time experience in a related areaDemonstrated programming skills in C++, Java, or other object-oriented languagesGood knowledge of statistics and machine learningAttention to detail, adaptability, drive, and collaborative approachDemonstrated interest in markets and systematic trading
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Ability to understand and map data flows across applications and data sourcesPrior experience in Rates markets (cash or swaps)Knowledge of order types, Level 2 market data, and central limit order booksExperience with KDB+/qThis role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
