Global Process Engineering Manager

This position has the responsibility of leading the Process Engineering aspects of global strategic projects, standardizing manufacturing process, equipment and materials across the BIAH vaccine network and solving aseptic processing challenges in the network. **Duties & Responsibilities** + Influence the performance of vaccine processing activities in the global AH vaccine network + Coach, mentor and technicall assist teams by providing insight, suggesting alternatives and removing obstacles + Manage goal setting in alignment with department and company goals and support the achievement of established goals + Support and encourage employee career development opportunities + Identify and establish standards for production materials (e.g. consumables), process equipment and critical process parameters across the BIAH vaccine network + Drive global standardization of processes and associated materials + drive global standardization of process equipment and operating parameters + Deliver and lead global technology advancements + Support successful adoption of manufacturing and process technology improvements across the organization + In line with global standards, understands and provides direction and input on future equipment design Aseptic Processing + Establish and maintain a network of global aseptic process engineering experts + Support development of aseptic processing standardization + Coordinate learnings and best known methods across sites + Provide technical expertise and analysis on manufacturing processes and complete training as necessary + Generate and support site aseptic processing technical assessments Technical Evaluations + Participate in multidisciplinary teams working on complex technical projects supporting project planning and cost development + Evaluate facility fit for new proejcts, technology implementation, and/or production processes + Provide assistance and technical direction on new building design, clean-room design and infrastructure design + As needed, participate on project teams through feasibility, conceptual design, implementation and facility start-up Technical Support + Manage and support planning, controlling, monitoring and reporting of product/process transfers between facilities + Provide expertise in engineering, design or on-going operations + Support and lead technical team to identify process improvements aimed at reducing costs and/or increasing efficiency + Troubleshoot manufacuting issues, identifying root cause and supporting corrective actions and resolution + Develop reliability models capable of predicting mixing and mass transfer phenomena + Use developed models support or lead yield improvement initiatives + Support product transfer proejcts by developing models of equipment from both the sending and receiving sites to provide insights to rhe transfer team + Lead and support strategic initiatives to improve efficiency, optimize costs and improve capacity + Champion new technologies that can improve manufacturing methods + Support the review, introduction and implementation of new technologies across sites + Monitor in-process data and outcomes ot enhance process understanding and improvements **Requirements** + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or related field and 10 years leading process engineering aspects of global strategic projects, standardizing manufacturing processes, equipment and materials within a global vaccine or pharmaceutical manufacutring network or similar regulated organization OR + Master's Degree Engineering, Science or related field and a minimum of 5 years leading process engineering aspects of global strategic projects, standardizing manufacturing processes, equipment and materials within a global vaccine or pharmaceutical manufacutring network or similar regulated organization + Demonstrated technical leadership and influence and people development + Fluency in English required - additonal language skills are an asset + Willingness to travel domestically and internationally + Demonstrated leadership, influence and people development in internaional/intercultural collaboration + Demonstrated leadership and influence through communications and truly engaging diverse audiences within and cross organizations and from individual contributor to leadership levels + Proven and demonstrated specialized/depth of knowledge and leadership in identified discipline + Proven leadership and mentoring of Experts and influence on peers **Eligibility Requirements** : + Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction. + Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required). + Must be 18 years of age or older. **Desired Skills, Experience and Abilities** All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to a person’s actual or perceived race, including natural hairstyles, hair texture and protective hairstyles;
