As a member of the Global Private Bank Regional Finance team within Asset and Wealth Management, you will provide financial, analytical, and reporting services, including budgeting, forecasting, business promoter analysis, expense management, regulatory reporting, and strategic planning. You will collaborate closely with Global Private Bank Regional Chief Financial Officer teams, support the Global Private Bank Chief Financial Officer, and partner with the Asset Wealth Management Chief Financial Officer/Planning & Analysis team and Asset and Wealth Management Strategy group to address ad-hoc requests and deliver industry-leading investment management solutions.
Job responsibilities
Produce daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly and ad-hoc reporting of the results and drivers for senior managementWork on Reporting and monitoring key metrics, driving data quality initiatives across the region, and helping define future needs of the region.Serve as a strategic partner to the US Private Bank Leadership through the development and management of annual financial budgets and monthly forecasting processes.Analyze financials to understand business drivers and identify opportunities to improve.Participate in the month-end close process with the broader GPB finance to research/resolve data issues.Navigate, interpret and analyze data sets and prepare insightful presentations for business reviews and senior management meetings.Execute analytical ad-hoc requests and support various stakeholdersCreate efficiencies through automation & process re-engineering Enhance controls and streamlining existing processes.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Minimum of CA or an MBA in Finance is requiredVery strong excel (super user) & PowerPoint skills are required;Proficiency in Tableau, Python, Alteryx (should be able to create Alteryx workflows independently) required, Proficiency with data mining/gathering and manipulation of data setsInquisitive, enthusiastic and diligent, and capable of challenging peersStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearlyAbility to create ad-hoc reporting for senior management.Proven track record for executing on special projects / assignments, often with little lead time or informationHighly motivated and able to thrive and think clearly under pressure and tight deadlinesPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
4+ years of work experience, preferably in Financial Services, and/or accounting/controller backgroundProficiency in SQL is preferredTeam player with the ability to be respected as a trusted partner for the Business, Finance, and FP&A TeamsHighly motivated self-starter with excellent time management/prioritization skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely
