Global Operations Business Resiliency & Incident Leader
**About this role:** Wells Fargo is seeking a highly strategic and influential **Global Operations Business Resiliency & Incident Leader** to lead enterprise‑wide continuity, incident response, and operational recovery strategies across Global Operations. This senior leader will serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing strategic oversight, governance, and hands‑on direction during operational disruptions. The ideal candidate brings deep subject‑matter expertise in business continuity, crisis management, and operational risk—paired with a proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams through complex, high‑impact events. This role also directly manages a team of resiliency professionals responsible for business continuity planning, testing, regulatory adherence, and risk identification across all Global Operations processes. **Responsibilities include:** + Own and govern all Global Operations resiliency programs **,** ensuring business continuity, crisis response, and incident management activities are executed in full alignment with enterprise policies, standards, and regulatory expectations. + Oversee and manage all resiliency‑related incidents—external or internal—ensuring timely escalation, coordinated response, and effective mitigation of disruptions with potential impacts to customers, financial obligations, market commitments, regulatory requirements, and organizational reputation. + Provide direct and indirect leadership to Resiliency Leads, Resiliency Officers, Business Resiliency Managers, Coordinators, and SMEs across all operational areas to ensure business continuity plans (BCPs) are accurate, executable, and capable of sustaining operational performance during disruptions. + Lead Global Operations critical incident response, including real-time incident triage, mitigation strategy evaluation, decision recommendations, and post‑incident analysis. Deliver after‑action reporting inclusive of qualitative and quantitative impact assessments (client impact, financial exposure, regulatory implications, SLA breaches). + Serve as primary senior representative for enterprise-wide resiliency initiatives, ensuring Global Operations is appropriately represented in resiliency forums, enterprise testing exercises, I&P facility events, and data center failover tests. Direct operational readiness, lead test calls, validate business impacts, and report on issues related to invocation and recovery validation. + Ensure Global Operations compliance with enterprise resiliency policies, including Enterprise Business Resiliency, Critical Products, and Interagency White Paper (IWP) requirements. Review data submissions and changes in the enterprise resiliency system of record, approve updates, and confirm alignment with policy and governance expectations. + Drive executive engagement and accountability by ensuring senior operations leaders understand their disruption risks, validate recovery strategies, and maintain appropriate oversight of assets critical to operational continuity. + Lead and develop a high‑performing resiliency team responsible for comprehensive continuity planning, exercising, governance, and ongoing maintenance of operational resiliency. Oversee adherence to Enterprise Business Resiliency (EBR), Resolution and Recovery Program (RRP), Interagency White Paper (IWP), while proactively identifying and escalating resiliency risks across Global Operations. **Required Qualifications:** + 8+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management or leadership experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education + 4+ years of management or leadership experience **Desired Qualifications:** + 4+ years directly managing both managers and individual contributors, including coaching, performance management, career development planning, and building high‑performing teams + Extensive experience inEnterprise Business Resiliency & Incident Management, with a proven ability to lead, coordinate, and resolve complex technical and operational incidents in high‑pressure environments. + Strong operations background with expertise in workflow optimization, root‑cause analysis, service restoration, and continuous improvement. + Demonstrated accountability for managing enterprise resiliency programs and ensuring strict adherence to all applicable policies and standards. + Extensive experience leading complex, enterprise-impacting incident management activities with precision, urgency, and executive-level communication. + Proven ability to oversee the development and execution of effective Business Continuity Plan and resiliency testing programs. + Strong capability to coordinate cross-functional resiliency efforts at the enterprise level, including validation exercises and operational readiness assessments. + Experience assessing resiliency risks, defining recovery strategies, and ensuring operational preparedness for all critical processes. **Job Expectations:** + Ability to travel 20% of the time + This position offers a hybrid work schedule + Adherence to in-office attendance expectations + This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship **Locations:** + 401 Las Colinas Bldg. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location.
