This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of critical systems, contributing to the overall success of our technical services. What You’ll Do: Reduce the number of after-hours alerts to in-region, on-call staff by identifying high-priority needs and conducting on-site troubleshooting. Determine the severity and cause of alerts, identifying external factors that may be affecting the device. Perform daily offline device monitoring and device connectivity checks during scheduled work and building power-down activities. Assist in preparing and submitting monthly device statistics and Engineering Incident data to the manager. Support the creation and updating of preventative maintenance schedules and manage configuration changes. Assist with data collection, databases, and client reviews, ensuring up-to-date vendor firmware updates. Apply knowledge to seek and develop new methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives. Showcase expertise in own job discipline and develop knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function. Communicate effectively with team members and clients, ensuring clear understanding and resolution of issues. Follow defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. What You’ll Need: High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required. Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. Communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. Ability to work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Global Monitoring Technician position is $32 per hour and the maximum salary for the Global Monitoring Technician position is $36 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
