You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Join SAP’s Global Mobility Expatriate Payroll team, a highly specialized group that supports colleagues working across borders and ensures they remain compliant with tax and payroll rules in more than 60+ countries worldwide.

International assignments are complex — taxes, payroll, compliance, benefits, and timing vary from country to country. Our team acts as the central coordination hub between internal SAP teams, external tax providers, and local payroll experts to make global mobility seamless for employees.

As a Global Mobility Expatriate Payroll Consultant, you will manage and support a variety of tax‑related processes for mobile employees. You’ll become an expert in topics like hypothetical tax, shadow payroll, tax equalization, and taxable mobility benefits, playing a crucial role in keeping SAP compliant globally while ensuring excellent employee experience.

This is a unique opportunity to develop deep knowledge in a niche but highly in-demand field and to work daily in an international environment.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

In this role, you will coordinate end‑to‑end expatriate payroll and tax processes for selected countries. Your main responsibilities include:

Execute tax and tax equalization payments/refunds in a timely and accurate way for assigned countries. Collect and validate employee data required for tax return preparation, including payroll documents and year‑end reports. Support data exchange between local payrolls, external providers, and internal teams for processes such as Hypo Tax Withholding, Shadow Payroll, and taxation of mobility benefits (ATE), to ensure smooth delivery of services. Maintain central reporting and track the status of tax returns, tax payments, and equalization results. Update process documentation and ensure audit-ready accuracy. Conduct quality checks, follow up with relevant stakeholders, and escalate issues when needed. Contribute to continuous process improvements and participate in global or ad‑hoc projects within the Global Mobility and Expat Payroll area.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a global team environment. Strong organizational and time‑management skills, reliability in meeting deadlines. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and comfort working with highly sensitive, confidential data. Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to understand complex end‑to‑end processes and quickly learn new topics. Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.

WORK EXPERIENCE

3–5 years of experience in HR, Payroll, Tax, or a similar operational area. Preferred: experience in a customer-focused environment or Shared Service Centre; experience with international payroll or tax topics is a strong plus (but not required).

What you can expect is professional onboarding, exciting career progression, a diverse work environment providing growth opportunities, learning & development possibilities, and an international business network for you to leverage. This role is based at the ultra-modern Metronom office building directly above the Nove Butovice metro station. The location encompasses SAP's vision for the perfect work-life balance by featuring uniquely decorated relaxation rooms, parents' and kids' room.

BENEFITS

Yearly bonuses, sick days paid and sick leaves fully refunded, flexible start/end of working hours, contributions to the pension/life insurance, meal vouchers, holidays 5 weeks, educational courses, coaching and mentoring opportunities, free massage, cafeteria plan, free fitness studio, generous shares program, etc.
